This software can be used to generate suites of accelerograms for nonlinear dynamic analysis of new or existing structures. The program is capable of reading accelerograms and spectra saved in different text file formats. This collection of ground motion records and spectra is then used in the simulation phase for the definition of target spectrum or envelope shapes.

Currently, the target spectrum can be created by following Eurocode 8 rules, by computing the spectrum of a specific accelerogram or by simply loading a user-defined spectrum. With both the target spectrum and the envelope type defined, an artificial accelerogram is generated and a comparison between its response spectrum and the target spectrum is given including the mean error in percentage, coefficient of variation, and PGA of the accelerogram.

Finally, due to its full integration with the Windows environment, SeismoArtif allows for numerical and graphical results to be copied to any Windows application (eg MS Excel, MS Word, etc.), noting that the characteristics of the plots can be fully customized from within the program itself.

It should be noted that by using real accelerometers and spectrum matching techniques together with record selection tools, you can obtain a set of records for nonlinear dynamic analysis of new or existing structures. This program is able to read the acceleration and intensity of earthquake motions and spectra stored in various text formats. Then, this set of records and records related to ground motions and spectra is used in the simulation phase. Due to the complete integration of this software with the Windows environment , you can also transfer the resulting numerical and graphic results to other Windows programs such as Excel, Word, etc.

SeismoArtif es una aplicación capaz de generar acelerogramas sísmicos artificiales adaptados a un espectro de respuesta objetivo específico mediante diferentes métodos de cálculo y diversas suposiciones. Se recomienda el uso de acelerogramas reales y técnicas de adaptación de espectros (véase SeismoMatch), junto con herramientas de selección de registros, para la derivación de conjuntos de registros destinados al análisis dinámico no lineal de estructuras. Sin embargo, en casos donde el acceso a acelerogramas reales resulta, por cualquier motivo, difícil o inadecuado, una herramienta como SeismoArtif resultará pertinente y útil.

Este software permite generar conjuntos de acelerogramas para el análisis dinámico no lineal de estructuras nuevas o existentes. El programa puede leer acelerogramas y espectros guardados en diferentes formatos de texto. Esta colección de registros y espectros de movimiento del terreno se utiliza posteriormente en la fase de simulación para definir el espectro objetivo o las formas de la envolvente.

Actualmente, el espectro objetivo puede crearse siguiendo las reglas del Eurocódigo 8, calculando el espectro de un acelerograma específico o simplemente cargando un espectro definido por el usuario. Una vez definidos tanto el espectro objetivo como el tipo de envolvente, se genera un acelerograma artificial y se compara su espectro de respuesta con el espectro objetivo, incluyendo el error medio porcentual, el coeficiente de variación y el PGA del acelerograma.

Por último, debido a su total integración con el entorno Windows, SeismoArtif permite copiar los resultados numéricos y gráficos a cualquier aplicación Windows (por ejemplo MS Excel, MS Word, etc.), destacando que las características de las gráficas se pueden personalizar totalmente desde el propio programa.
