InfoDrainage 2025: Generating responsive flood maps with the Machine Learning Deluge Tool
InfoDrainage 2025 is here, delivering phase two of our Machine Learning Deluge tool, achieving interactivity with user-placed ponds and swales. This release is another example of how Autodesk AI is being integrated into our water portfolio.
InfoDrainage’s Machine Learning Deluge Tool enables drainage designers to create predictive flood maps quickly and accurately when applying water on the site surface, thanks to built-in artificial intelligence. InfoDrainage 2025 delivers additional functionality to this tool, allowing users to stamp ponds and swales directly onto the surface and generate updated flood maps within the deluge analysis. This allows designers to make more informed decisions from the outset when implementing drainage designs and mitigate risk from flooding events for a given site.
One of the key advancements in InfoDrainage 2025.0 is the integration of user-defined ponds and swales into our machine learning-based flood mapping technology. In previous versions, our machine learning algorithms provided valuable insights into deluge flood patterns but were blind to the presence of user-introduced features such as ponds and swales.
InfoDrainage’s journey to achieve further parity with Civil 3D continues. As part of our latest changes, InfoDrainage 2025 is now compatible with Civil 3D 2024. Future releases will provide support for newer versions of Civil 3D.
Our support team has built out a resource that summarizes which InfoDrainage versions are compatible with which Civil 3D versions, but this is a quick summary for most users:
